Chairman, Pacific group, Dr Adedeji Adeleke has fulfilled his pledge of one billion naira to the centenary Endowment Fund of the Cherubim and Seraphim Church.
This was discovered in an official receipt obtained by Osun Spring Newspaper, indicating a transfer of 1billion Naira initiated from a Sepco Pacific Energy Partners Ltd’s FCMB account to the church’s Zenith Bank Account.
Recall that the business mogul had earlier made the pledge in honour of his late Mother, Mrs Esther Adeleke at a thanksgiving service in honour of Governor Ademola Adeleke.
Osun Spring Reports that this document has laid to rest the false accusations of the Osun APC alleging Governor Adeleke of releasing the fund from the state government account.
Reacting earlier, Spokesperson to Osun State Governor, Mallam Olawale Rasheed has described the allegation as false stating the Dr Deji Adeleke is known for as such donations as he did donated 500 million to Osun State in the last administration to fight COVID-19.
“At the event in Lagos, neither the state government nor the state Governor made any donation. The only donation came from Dr Adeleke who is more than capable to do so as he had done to APC governments when Mr Oyetola and Muhammadu Buhari were in office”, the Spokesperson had earlier asserted.
