The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has officially accredited the Computer-Based Test (CBT) Centres of Osun State University (UNIOSUN) for the conduct of its examinations.
A statement issued by the University’s Public Relations Officer, Mr. Ademola Adesoji, revealed that candidates registering for the 2025 October/November WAEC examinations can now select UNIOSUN CBT Centres as their preferred examination venues.
Speaking on the development, the Vice-Chancellor of UNIOSUN, Professor Odunayo Clement Adebooye, described the approval as a landmark achievement and a validation of the university’s investment in technology-driven learning and assessment infrastructure.
“This accreditation by WAEC underscores our commitment to providing state-of-the-art facilities that meet international standards.
“At UNIOSUN, candidates are assured of a serene, secure, and technologically advanced environment designed to enhance performance and guarantee convenience”, Professor Adebooye said.
The university’s CBT Centres are equipped with modern computer systems, high-speed internet, uninterrupted power supply, and robust security measures, making them suitable for both National and International examinations.
The Vice-Chancellor urged prospective candidates to choose UNIOSUN CBT Centres during their registration to enjoy cutting-edge infrastructure, uninterrupted connectivity, and a conducive environment tailored for excellence.
