Health Fellow, Isiaka Facilitates, Commissions Motorized Borehole In Atakunmosa East

Residents of Oke Odo Community in Atakunmosa East Local Government Area of Osun State have heaved a sigh of relief as access to clean and safe water became a reality following the commissioning of a motorized borehole facilitated by Mr. Isiaka Ganiyu Oyetunji, a National Health Fellow.

The facility, which was unveiled at a colourful ceremony attended by community leaders, stakeholders, colleagues, and residents, is expected to significantly reduce the burden of water scarcity in the area while improving the general well-being of the people.

Speaking at the commissioning, Oyetunji described the project as the culmination of his capstone initiative under the fellowship.

He said he was inspired by his desire to give back to society and provide a sustainable solution to one of the community’s pressing needs.

“I sincerely appreciate everyone who honoured my invitation and graced this commissioning ceremony. Your presence, donations, and words of encouragement have further strengthened my commitment to community service,” he said.

He expressed gratitude to the Oke Odo community for their cooperation and support.

He stated that the borehole as “a new chapter of hope” for the people.
