The Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke, has congratulated the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, on the occasion of her 65th birthday.
Adeleke, in a statement on Sunday by his Spokesperson, Mallam Olawale Rasheed, described the First Lady as “an Amazon” whose life has been defined by service, compassion, and unwavering commitment to nation building.
The governor lauded Senator Tinubu’s years of impactful public service, particularly her three-term stint in the Senate, where she played what he called a pivotal role in shaping legislative practice and deepening democratic principles.
He added that the celebrant had devoted much of her political career to championing women’s empowerment, youth development, and social progress.
“I join family, friends and well-wishers to celebrate an incredible woman of unimaginable importance, the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Her Excellency Senator Oluremi Tinubu, on the joyous occasion of her 65th birthday,” Adeleke said.
“Senator Tinubu is an Amazon, shaping not just lives for the better, but also building a pathway for a prosperous future. She is a unique blessing of nature to us, and I enjoyed the grace of her kindness during my short stint in the Senate, as she guided my time in the red chamber and provided the needed support that made the journey eventful,” he added.
The governor further praised the First Lady for standing firmly beside President Bola Tinubu in what he called “the burden of serving Nigerians,” stressing that her role as a stabilising force in the presidency cannot be overstated.
Governor Adeleke prayed for her continued good health, sound mind, and strength to support the President in his pursuit of a prosperous Nigeria.
