0 0

Aloy Ejimakor, the Special Counsel to the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has reportedly collapsed while being held at the Kuje Correctional Centre in Abuja.

According to reports from sources on Saturday, Ejimakor suddenly became weak and was unable to stand or sit upright.

He was said to have received immediate medical attention from health personnel within the correctional facility and was later moved to the Kuje Medical Centre for further treatment.

Details surrounding the cause of his collapse remain unclear as of press time.

However, it was gathered that Ejimakor was among those detained earlier in the week following a protest calling for Nnamdi Kanu’s release.

As of now, neither the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS) nor Ejimakor’s legal team has issued an official statement on his condition or the circumstances leading to his reported health emergency.

Ejimakor has been a key member of Nnamdi Kanu’s defence team, handling several legal matters related to the IPOB leader’s ongoing trial and detention.

His reported collapse has sparked concern among supporters and human rights advocates, who are urging authorities to ensure he receives adequate medical care and that his rights are protected.
