Founder of the Conquerors Global Assembly, Bishop David Abioye, has shared a testimony of how his wife was miraculously healed after being diagnosed with HIV during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Speaking during a Sunday service while preaching on divine healing, the respected cleric recalled how he refused to accept the medical report when doctors told him that his wife had tested positive for HIV.
According to Abioye, he immediately turned to prayer and made scriptural confessions of faith, insisting that the illness could not have any hold on her.
“During COVID-19, they said my wife had HIV. I said, ‘No, not in this body,’” the bishop recounted. “I got a scriptural revelation — ‘the prince of this world came and found nothing in me.’ So I said, ‘Go and do the check-up again.’”
He said after prayers and declarations of faith, the medical team carried out another test, which came back negative.
“They checked her up and they couldn’t find anything there,” Abioye said, emphasizing the power of faith in overcoming sickness.
The bishop, who is also a senior figure in the Living Faith Church Worldwide (Winners’ Chapel), concluded his message by urging believers to resist sickness with spiritual conviction.
“Healing is not for gentlemen,” he declared. “You don’t nurse sickness to go; you fight sickness to go.”
