The Osun State Police Command has declared a 15-year-old boy, Oladosu Abdulmalik, missing and has appealed to the public for useful information that could help locate him.

According to a statement signed by the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Abiodun Ojelabi, Abdulmalik left his home in the Ilo Grammar School area of Ilobu, Osun State, on November 6, 2025, and has not been seen or heard from since.

The police described the missing boy as dark in complexion, about five feet tall, with no tribal marks, and noted that he speaks Yoruba fluently.

DSP Ojelabi said the Command has commenced investigations into the case and is working with community members and other security agencies to ensure Abdulmalik’s safe return.

“The Command urges anyone with useful information about his whereabouts to contact the nearest police station or reach out to any security formation in the state,” Ojelabi said.

He also appealed to residents of Osun and neighboring states to remain vigilant and report any sighting or information that could assist the police in reuniting the boy with his family.

The family of the missing teenager has also expressed deep concern and joined the police in calling on well-meaning Nigerians to assist in the search efforts.
