Woman Missing After Midweek Church Service In Osun
Residents of Modakeke, Osun State, have been thrown into anxiety following the disappearance of a woman identified as Adewuyi Funke, who has not been seen since Wednesday, November 12, 2025.
Funke, who lives in the Oke Ola area of the town, was said to have attended a midweek Bible study at a church in the Oronna community. The service reportedly ended around 8 p.m., after which she exchanged brief pleasantries with fellow worshippers before heading out.
Church members told reporters that nothing appeared unusual as she left the premises, but relatives raised an alarm when she failed to return home later that night.
Family members and community volunteers have begun a search, calling on residents of Modakeke and neighbouring areas to provide any information that may assist in finding her.
