The Osun State Command of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has welcomed its newly deployed Commander, Olayinka Joe Fadile.
Fadile has officially assumed duty in the state.
This was disclosed in a statement issued by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, Esther Fadare, who confirmed that Fadile was received on November 24, 2025.
Fadile takes over from CN Oluwarotimi Lawal Adetula, who previously headed the Osun NDLEA formation.
According to the statement made available to Osun Spring Newspaper, the new Commander is a “seasoned and well-grounded anti-narcotics professional” with extensive field experience.
Until his redeployment, he served as the NDLEA State Commander in Oyo State. His posting to Osun became effective on November 17, 2025.
The agency expressed optimism that Commander Fadile’s expertise will further strengthen ongoing efforts to curb drug abuse and trafficking across the state.
