Deconstruction of The Unintelligent Response from Kazeem Faleye Aro

In a world where everyone’s abilities can be determined and validated through engagements, personal capacity becomes easy to identify. That’s why, every time I come across a piece, I instinctively seek to ascertain the author behind it, enabling me to validate my expectations while I go through it.

This was precisely my course of action when I came across an unintelligent piece with the headline “A response to the diatribe of Adeleke’s hired errand boys on Senator Ajibola Basiru.” To my greatest surprise, Kazeem Faleye Aro was the authorizing party. My immediate response to the piece was, “Kazeem Aro cannot have written all of this 😂😂.”

The truth is exactly as you might have suspected – someone else penned the piece, recognized its lack of intellectual substance, and attributed it to Aro. Due to Aro’s limited grasp of the message, he blindly accepted the opportunity to embarrass his intellectual capacity more, all because he was primarily concerned with pleasing his leaders. A friend with whom I discussed my intention to prepare a response to Aro’s authorized piece commented, “If you shake Egbon Aro’s head, nothing will sound because it is empty.”

We can confidently assert this because the Kazeem Aro we all know is not intellectually equipped to craft even a “2-paragraph” piece, let alone one spanning 8 paragraphs. Anyone familiar with the dramas that unfolded during the last administration knows that Aro lacks any semblance of integrity or shame, always ready to dance naked to your tune as long as you reward him with a penny.

However, I will not stoop to the level of the unintelligent writer and the naive authorizer. Instead, I will address some of the misguided claims they raised in their piece. First and foremost, let me remind the amnesia-afflicted individual named “Kazeem Aro” that the very same Hashim Abioye, whom he alleges has been losing court cases consistently, was the lawyer, along with Barrister Bukola Onifade, who came to his rescue when he was on the verge of impending incarceration, courtesy of his now “leader,” Remi Omowaiye.

If Aro’s case had been among the lost court cases, he would probably be dining on watery beans in Ilesa, instead of consenting to this worthless piece. Nonetheless, in an effort to address the curiosity of some readers, can either Aro or the actual writer enumerate the specific cases they claim Barrister Hashim Abioye lost “back-to-back”?

Was it the case involving the Local Government Election that led to the removal of all the Yes/No APC Local Government officials? Or Dotun Babayemi’s case, which ended in victory for Governor Adeleke? Or the series of pre-election cases brought against Adeleke and the PDP? Perhaps Aro should also get information about over 30 election petition APC-sponsored Action Alliance cases against the PDP in the last general elections. What is the fate of those petitions sponsored by Kazeem Aro’s APC that the PDP had won with Barrister Hashim Abioye holding the ace as the Secretary and engine room of the PDP Legal Team.

Aro should return to his paymaster, Ajibola Basiru, although I strongly doubt that SRJ would consent to this feeble response in his defence, and request a comparison of the number of cases personally won and lost, both as a private practitioner and as a former Attorney-General, with those of Barrister Hashim Abioye. This would allow us to engage with factual information.

The manner in which your leaders treat their family members, akin to ostracizing them like lepers, should not be misconstrued as a representation of how all families should coexist. The Adeleke family is renowned for their affection and camaraderie, though comprehending this may prove challenging for you people.

To further dispel the misinformed opinions of these individuals, there has never been a time when Barrister Hashim Abioye’s seat was unoccupied in the State Exco Chambers. He enjoys all the privileges of a cabinet member. If there is a reason for his absence from the spacious allotted office at Bola Ige House, it is due to the state in which the APC government left the civil service and the offices are now being put in proper shape by present Administration. Nevertheless, his office has an approved renovation fund from Mr. Governor. This is verifiable. Kazeem Aro is free to visit Abioye in his office to beg for alms and he will be welcome.

To address the unwarranted and baseless claims of these individuals who know nothing about governance, they raise concerns about the Governor’s spokesperson signing a statement. Can they please clarify what is wrong with the spokesperson signing a press statement to convey the message of a Governor’s Aide in defence of Mr Governor?

At no point in time has Mallam Olawale Rasheed faltered in the execution of his duties. It is disheartening that we currently find ourselves in a situation where the opposition party is struggling to acclimate to their new role and, inexplicably, continuing to lament unnecessarily about the delivery of good governance in Osun State nearly a year into their tenure as an opposition.

It is scarcely credible to entertain the notion that the party could be bereft of a grasp on governance and constructive engagement. Their persistent grievances appear to be misaligned with the realization of Governor Ademola Adeleke’s electoral pledges.

As I conclude, let me inform the saboteurs who are SRJ’s puppets in the Ministry of Justice and are apprehensive of Barr Hashim Abioye’s presence that they will be dealt with at the appropriate time for their unwarranted, needless, and baseless claims regarding the Special Adviser.
