Tinubu Meets New Service Chiefs

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Monday met with the recently appointed Service Chiefs and the Chief of Defence Intelligence at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

The closed-door session marked the President’s first official interaction with the new military hierarchy since their appointments.

In attendance were the Chief of Defence Staff, Lieutenant General O.O. Oluyede, along with the Chiefs of Army, Naval, and Air Staff, as well as the Chief of Defence Intelligence.

During the meeting, President Tinubu urged the Service Chiefs to uphold professionalism, work in harmony, and show steadfast dedication in tackling the nation’s security concerns.

He reiterated his administration’s commitment to enhancing the operational capacity of the Armed Forces and restoring peace and stability across Nigeria.

The engagement highlighted the government’s ongoing drive for security sector reforms and the need for stronger inter-service collaboration to realize the President’s agenda of a safer and more secure nation.
