Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, and his daughter, Feyi, have successfully completed the Brussels Half Marathon held on Sunday in Belgium.

He expressed pride in finishing the race despite its demanding terrain.
“Pleased to have completed the Brussels Half Marathon earlier today with my daughter, Feyi. At 3 hours and 2 minutes to get to the finish line, I was about 10 minutes slower than my previous half marathon this year,” he wrote.
The governor described the Brussels course as the toughest he has ever run, citing its steep and undulating nature.
“This is the most challenging course I have ever run as it was undulating with a major part of the course going uphill,” Makinde said.
He commended his daughter for her resilience and encouraged others to embrace fitness and healthy living.
The Oyo State governor is known for his active lifestyle and has participated in several marathons both within and outside Nigeria.
