Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has accused her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, of allegedly ordering the arrest of her elder brother and sister, with fears that her younger sibling could also be detained soon.
The actress made the claims through a series of emotional posts on her Instagram Stories, alleging that her family was being harassed amid ongoing issues in her marriage.
According to Daniels, the Delta North senator was using his political power to intimidate her relatives, though she did not reveal where the arrests took place or what led to them.
She suggested, however, that the actions were intended to pressure her into returning to what she described as a “rehabilitation programme.”
“Someone please help me. My big brother and sister have been arrested, and now my baby sister may be next. He said they won’t be free until I return to what he calls rehab,” she wrote in one of the posts.
Daniels further claimed that her husband had branded her a drug addict, a label she strongly denied, while hinting that she might soon reveal more details about their troubled relationship.
“I’ve tried to stay calm for the sake of my kids, but I can’t take it anymore. Ned, please leave my family and me alone,” she added.
As of press time, Senator Nwoko had not issued any response to the allegations.
