We Practice Compassionate Leadership, Not Deceitful Governance – Adeleke
The Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has reiterated that his administration is anchored on transparent, compassionate and people-focused leadership, declaring that his government does not divert public funds meant for development projects across the state.

Speaking at a tech hangout in Osogbo, on Thursday, the Governor stressed that the credibility of any government must be measured by its delivery of good governance and tangible democratic dividends to the people.
He stressdy that his administration has achieved in three years what previous administrations failed to accomplish in over a decade, attributing the progress recorded to prudence, accountability and people-oriented policies.
In his words, “We provide leadership which does not divert funds meant for projects in our towns and cities. Even when we dance, we never deceive the people by making unfulfilled promises. Our seriousness as a government is measured by our delivery of good governance and democratic dividends. Our governorship delivers within three years what they failed to achieve in more than one decade.
“We assert that leadership is not about being mean and sadistic to the citizenry. Wickedness and neglect of people’s aspirations are never an attribute of a good leader. Leadership is compassion, responsiveness and satisfaction of the needs of the people.
“We affirm that our leadership is a civilised one where people are treated as humans, not as animals. Osun indeed deserves a compassionate leadership, not a set of mean, corrupt and deceitful political fraudsters.”
