Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has congratulated the Osun State University over the impressive performance of its law graduates at the just-concluded Final Bar Examinations of the Nigeria Law School, where four of its students graduated with First Class honours.

The governor gave the commendation while receiving a report presented by the Vice Chancellor of the university, Prof. Clement Adeboye, noting that the performance of students remains a key indicator of the quality of any education system.

According to him, the state government has continued to prioritise education through improved motivation for teachers and better learning conditions across institutions.

“We place emphasis on teachers’ motivation and enhanced work and learning environment. I thank the Nigerian Union of Teachers and the Association of School Principals for acknowledging our priority support for the education sector,” Adeleke said.

“Our administration focuses on human motivation alongside upgrading the learning environment, hence our students are performing so well from NECO to national and international educational competitions.

I congratulate the management and staff of Osun State University,” he added.
The First Class graduates include Adeniyi Faith Oluwaseun, Rotimi Boluwatife Blessing, Aliri Chisom Joan, and Alalade Hannah Timilehin.

Speaking further, Prof. Adeboye commended the governor for his sustained support for the institution, particularly in the College of Law, which he said has significantly improved learning and accessibility.

“The Governor made our task of transportation to the College of Law easy by constructing the abandoned road that leads to the College. The Governor also built a 1,000-capacity lecture theatre complex (400-400-200) in the College of Law,” he said.

He further disclosed that arrangements have been concluded for the construction of the internal road network of the College of Law in Ifetedo, while appreciating the governor’s intervention across sectors.
“We thank the governor for his multi-sectoral successes,” he added.
