“Execute your dirty deals in your name”, Osun PDP berates IPAC Chair

0 0

Inter Party Advisory Council chairman in Osun State, Mr Simon Adebayo has been told to desist from using the seal of the council to project his ‘under the table’ opposition duties contracted to him, warning that IPAC as a body is not a political party or opposition pressure group to be used as negotiation bait for personal greed.

The PDP in a statement by its Director of Administration, Alhaji Sikiru Mustapha noted that Adebayo should be reminded of the advisory role IPAC is meant to serve in the nation’s political landscape as an amalgamation of registered political parties, including the ruling Peoples Democratic Party.

The statement reads “Adebayo arrogating the body as a tool for his personal enterprise of ‘write and shoot’ bargaining with the defeated opposition in the state is therefore, unethical and outside of IPAC mandate.

“Adebayo is the chairman of APM in Osun and he will do well to answer for his party, no matter how moribund, when it comes to business of impressing his collaborators in APC.

“While it is not compulsory for APM or his shortsighted friends to commend PDP government of His Excellency, Governor Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke for the remarkable achievements recorded in the last one year, it is however crude and utterly strange for the APM chairman to arrogate collective image of IPAC to himself for whatever reason.

“We must remind Adebayo that he will continue to suffer defeat in his undertaker voyage just as he was defeated when he was contracted to sue His Excellency, the Governor of Osun State in his capacity as PDP candidate in the July 16 governorship election, a case which ran it’s full cycle, up to the supreme court where his misadventure was finally laid to rest.

“As dirty and belittling as such evil contract was, it was still better for Adebayo because the suit was filed and prosecuted in the name, logo and seal of APM and not that of IPAC.

“It is expected that the state working committee of IPAC, if any, will call Adebayo to order before he runs the party into complete oblivion. Other members of IPAC are also advised to rein in the controversial Adebayo, on the illegality of constituting IPAC as an opposition politica party in Osun State.”
