Who will safe Osun APC from this imminent imposition?

The All Progressives Congress party in Osun state is facing a certain perdition, and I don’t think the stakeholders in that Nazi camp really know that the end is near.

How do I know that the hawker of poisoned soft pap has finally attracted unsuspecting customers in APC? I knew when the bargaining started and concluded. The payment was made.

What is left is for the lead ‘undertaker’ from the ‘Source’ to serve the ‘last supper’ to the confused, almost rudderless people in the clan of evil doers resident in that house of commotion.

Issues around the Osun APC and its leaders’ fight to the death over who gets the governorship ticket remind me of the proverbial effigy. It felt glory and honour had finally found it.

So, next, it should be thrown into the deep sea to enjoy a cold bath. The end is known right from the beginning

Or what do you call the killings in Ilesa, reportedly involving hoodlums working for the rival factions within the Osun APC? When dogs belonging to the same household bite each other to death. What could have happened if they were set against a greyhound from another compound?

When the booming of the guns went silent on Tuesday evening around the Olomilagbala Area of Ilesa, Germani was down and out. The dark, stocky frame of the feared supporter of a governorship aspirant in APC had gone numb.

Who killed him? Accusing fingers did not travel far before exposing the killers. The perpetrators were the people who once ate in the same plate with the deceased, those who in the past, adorned the green colour customised Ankara of the APC.

They killed him, widowed his wives, rendered his children fatherless. The killers of this community leader live in a nest of the mean and heartless. Guns bought for the security men in Nigeria with the taxpayers money are being used to protect the den, simply because ’emilokan’ crooner, their father, is the president.

But I remember that igba (season) many times, may have other plans, far from the understanding of people living in that season. There is no forever champion.

As an Afenifere that I am to APC, I advise that party to do less evil. Masquerade will eventually remove the costume and whatever havoc wreck with the veil of anonymity of eegun, will come around to hunt the perpetrators.

Enough of the killings over the governorship ticket of the party. Osun people deserve their peace. Imagine the opposition party members in Osun killing themselves over a ticket? The governorship election has already pitched the people against their haters (the Osun APC).

A very harsh judgment will be delivered on the party by the ever-conscious Osun people. The people, whose resources were unjustly seized and later transferred the funds transferred to private individuals to lavish on wine, women and weed.

As expected of every responsible government, the administration of Governor Ademola Adeleke would not sit back and allow APC members to continue to kill themselves, hence the charge on the security agents to fish out the killers.

A statement by the spokesperson to the governor, Olawale Rasheed, said following the violence in Ilesa, Osun State Security Council met to review and draft new service-wide security measures to protect lives and properties from local and external threats.

“The meeting attended by all service commanders was presided over by the Deputy Governor, Prince Kola Adewusi, with far-reaching conclusions on measures to further secure the state from infiltration by bandits and domestic criminals.

“The Deputy Governor conveyed the commendation of Governor Adeleke to the service commanders and expressed optimism that the ongoing security plan will strengthen the security and safety of the Osun people.

“The meeting urged the public to deepen its partnership with security agencies by sharing information and reporting any suspicious developments in their areas.

“Meanwhile, Governor Adeleke has warned against rising political violence in some parts of the state, directing the Commissioner of Police to clamp down on political killings across Ijeshaland.

“Pleading with the political class to submit to people’s will and avoid violence, the governor decried recent killings at Ilesa, urging politicians to eschew thuggery and bloodletting.

“If truly our goal is to serve the people, we must focus on the ballot and free exercise of electoral choices by our people. I urge the Commissioner of Police to secure the affected areas and stop further killings,” the statement read.
