In a bid to resuscitate education section in Osun State, Governor Ademola Adeleke recently organized a 3-day summit.
The Chairman of the state teaching service commission, TESCOM, Mr Temitope Mustapha stated this on ‘Imole Ayo’, a sensitization programme promoting the activities of Governor Ademola Adeleke’s administration on OSBC Radio and Television channels.
To promote the accomplishments of Governor Ademola Adeleke’s government in Osun state, the office of the governor’s spokesperson, Mallam Olawale Rasheed, established the weekly Yoruba programme that is simulcast.
Mr. Mustapha claimed that the Governor made a commitment to review the education summit report and put its recommendations into practice in order to revitalize the industry.
He continued by saying that Governor Ademola Adeleke has devised plans to offer incentives for teachers working in rural areas, making it more pleasant for them to reside there and lessening their desire to be transferred to urban areas.
Regarding the topic of teacher recruitment, he stated that key players are already formulating plans to determine the number of subject instructors that are required to be hired and sent to schools around the state.
The TESCOM chairman asked parents and guardians to help Governor Ademola Adeleke’s administration by paying necessary fees for their children’s and wards’ education on a regular basis. He said that this money is utilized for the upkeep of schools because the government cannot do it alone.
