Borno State Commissioner for Finance and Economic Development, Ahmed Ali Ahmed, is dead.
Although, details of his death are still sketchy, sources familiar with the incident told Daily Trust that the commissioner died inside his room on Monday morning.
His door was said to have been forced open when he didn’t came out at his usual time on Monday morning.
The source said the late Commissioner dead body was found in the room.
“Oga is no more, he died early this morning,” the source said.
Family sources confirmed that the deceased will be buried on Monday, 26th August, 2024 at his residence, Ashaka Street behind Muhammad Indimi House by 4:00pm.
On August 10 2023, Governor Babagana Umara Zulum, sworn-in Ahmed Ali, alongside 16 new commissioners to constitute the state executive council for his second term which began on May 29, 2023.
