
The Vice-Chancellor of Osun State University, Professor Odunayo Clement Adebooye, has extended warm felicitations to Muslims within the University community and across the Nation on the joyous occasion of Eid-el-Fitr, marking the successful completion of the Ramadan fast.
A statement released by the University Public Relations Officer, Ademola Adesoji stated that the Vice-Chancellor commended Muslim faithfuls for their dedication to the spiritual discipline of Ramadan, emphasizing that the values of patience, self-restraint, generosity, and devotion cultivated during the holy month should not be abandoned after the celebrations.
“As we rejoice in the blessings of Eid-el-Fitr, I urge all our Muslim brothers and sisters to continue embodying the virtues of love, kindness, and selflessness, which Ramadan has reinforced in us. Let us extend these noble values to our daily interactions, promoting peace, unity, and harmony in our communities and the nation at large,” Professor Adebooye stated.
The Vice-Chancellor also prayed for Allah’s continued blessings upon the Institution, the State, and Nigeria, while reaffirming the University’s commitment to fostering an environment that upholds religious tolerance and mutual respect among all faiths.
He concluded by wishing the Muslim Ummah a joyous and fulfilling Eid celebration.
