The Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke has congratulated the Chairman of the National Labour Congress (NLC) in the state, Comrade Christopher Abimbola Arapasopo on the occasion of his birthday, acknowledging his principled stance on issues that affect the welfare of workers.
Governor Adeleke in a statement by his Spokesperson, Mallam Olawale Rasheed recognised Comrade Abimbola’s steadfastness and sense of purpose in pursuing the interests of workers in the state, pointing out that his ability to balance activism with patriotism has helped create a rancour-free environment between workers and the government.
“I join family, friends and workers in the whole of Osun state to congratulate a worthy leader of the workers, Comrade Christopher Abimbola, on the auspicious occasion of his birthday. Comrade Abimbola embodies the aspiration of our ever-supportive workers, using every available opportunities to advocate for an improved welfare for them.
“Through his passionate advocacy, our government has been able to deliver better welfare for our workers, paying accumulated wage debts and taking steps that will ensure that the pains of yesterday is forgotten for good. I cherish his ruggedness just as I respect his diplomatic approach in getting the best for workers in the state”, Governor Adeleke noted in a congratulatory message.
Governor Adeleke prayed to God to bless him with many more celebrations in good health and sound mind as well as renewed strength to continue to be of good service to the state, especially our workers, just as he hoped for his sustain commitment to the continued progress of Osun state.
