Omipidan's statement on Adeleke's achievement, a fallacy - Group

The Osun Leadership Forum has described a statement credited to Ismail Omipidan, the Chief Press Secretary to former Governor Gboyega Oyetola on the achievement of Governor Ademola Adeleke in one year as a fallacy.

The group in a statement jointly signed by its Chairman, Sola Makanjuola and PRO Oluwasanmi Olabisi noted that Governor Adeleke’s one year anniversary is a landmark of big achievement in Osun State adding that the people of Osun State should understand that Governor Adeleke is never a eye service governor who will erect just one flyover bridge in a popular place and call it an achievement.

The statement reads “Our attention has just been drawn to a press statement released by Ismail Omipidan on _’Those who unleashed Adeleke on Osun did not mean well’_ .

“What a fallacious statement from a baby politician and a political opportunist. Omipidan needs to learn politics better in order to understand that those who unleashed Adeleke on Osun are the majority and those who leashed him and his political party out of the government are also the majority. How we wish that Omipidan should brush up well in politics and stop gambling on the experience of just one term political appointment.

“It’s fallacious to have also heard Omipidan that “it was ungodly to have forced Senator Adeleke on Osun ..” This statement defines Omipidan as a career person who doesn’t know anything about politics. Electing a governor is not by appointment as he thought, election is an instrument that determines the winner in politics through the majority voters. It’s very clear that no one forced Adeleke on Osun state, Adeleke won and defeated your party, APC.

“Omipidan should know that Sen. Ademola Adeleke One year anniversary is a landmark of big achievement in Osun State. Also, one thing we want the good people of Osun State to understand is that Adeleke is never a eye service governor who will erect just one flyover bridge in a popular place and call it an achievement. Sen. Ademola Adeleke allows his government and projects to flow into every corners that APC left untouched.

“However, Gov. Ademola Adeleke didn’t give out his project to outsiders like APC government, all the contractors, and materials for his projects are from Osun State. What else does Omipidan want the good people of Osun State to know or say about the wonderful achievement of Gov. Adeleke if not to eulogize him with accolades.
