Former Governor of Osun State, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, has stated that the All Progressives Congress (APC) has not fared well for the people of the state throughout their administration.
He described this as the basis for the refusal of Governor Ademola Adeleke to defect to the ruling party at the national level despite the pressure from all sides, adding that he will be in a dilemma.
Prince Oyinlola stated this on Thursday while featuring on Arise TV Prime Time, stressing that the defections here and there are often because there is always enormous pressure on elected officers from the ruling party.
“The fact that there is always enormous pressure from the ruling party on all the elected officers, and that is what is producing this defection up and down.
“Why my Governor has not gone was just because he will be in a dilemma because APC has not fared well with the people of Osun State, and I can say that anywhere.
“Now telling him to roll over to the APC will mean ruining his political future because the people will not go along with that, he knows it, but there is pressure on him.
