Youth Vanguard Backs Governor Ademola Adeleke’s Shift to Accord Party, Says Move Reflects Osun People’s Wishes
The Ifedayo Youth Vanguard has lauded Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke over his recent declaration to realign with the Accord Party.
The youth vanguard describes the decision as a strategic step that mirrors the aspirations of the people.
In a statement on Wednesday, the group’s Coordinator, Lasun Adefila, said the Governor’s political recalibration reflects a long-standing demand by residents for a more inclusive and people-focused governance structure.
According to the Vanguard, Adeleke’s leadership style, which is anchored on transparency, accessibility, and broad-based development has continued to deepen public trust and solidify his bond with citizens across the state.
The group highlighted the administration’s progress in infrastructure renewal, education reform, expanded healthcare services, youth empowerment initiatives, and social welfare programmes.
These, it said, have positioned Osun on a stable path of growth and reinforced the Governor’s credibility as a leader with genuine commitment to the masses.
Adefila noted that Adeleke’s shift to the Accord Party is expected to galvanise a new wave of supporters and energize political participation among progressive-minded residents who desire sustainable development.
He reaffirmed the group’s loyalty to the Governor and pledged its readiness to mobilise widespread grassroots backing as he embarks on what it termed “a new chapter of purposeful leadership.”
The Vanguard also urged youths and all supporters of the Governor to remain peaceful, united, and resolute in their support as Osun navigates what it described as a defining moment in its political landscape.
