Provost of the Osun State College of Health Technology, Ilesa, Dr Lateef Olarewaju Raheem, has stated that the institution is commitment to a merit-driven admission process for the 2025/2026 academic session.
Speaking shortly after the conclusion of the first batch of the College’s entrance examination held at the Adeleke University CBT Centre, yesterday, Dr Raheem assured candidates that “only those who meet or surpass the cut-off mark will be admitted.”
The Provost said the College has, over the years, built a reputation for transparency and academic excellence, which has earned it recognition as one of the foremost health technology institutions in the country.
“Our admission process is designed to be fair and transparent. We are committed to producing competent and qualified health practitioners who can compete favourably with their counterparts anywhere in the world,” he stated.
He commended the smooth conduct of the examination and the cooperation of candidates, while noting that the College would continue to leverage technology and best practices to ensure credible selection.
Meanwhile, the management has fixed August 18 and 19 for the entrance interviews.
Applicants for the Community Health Extension Works (CHEW) programme are scheduled for August 18, while candidates for other courses will be interviewed on August 19.
The interviews will hold at the College premises in Ilesa, with candidates expected to present their local government identification, O’level results, JAMB result, application printout, and birth certificate.
