The people of Ayedire Constituency in Osun State are set for a major educational boost as the 3rd edition of the IseOluwa Free Holiday Coaching Programme rounds off Tomorrow, Thursday, September 18, 2025.
The initiative, spearheaded by the member representing Ayedire State Constituency in the Osun State House of Assembly, Hon. Oderinwale Elisha Akinyemi, is designed to enhance the academic performance and leadership skills of young people in the area.
According to a statement signed by the lawmaker on yesterday, Tuesday, September 16, the closing ceremony will hold at Ileogbo City Hall by 9:00 a.m.
The event will feature a special lecture and career talk to be delivered by Dr. Adekigbe Adebanjo, Head of the Computer Science Department, Federal Polytechnic, Ede.
Highlighting the programme’s impact, Akinyemi disclosed that 180 free WAEC forms and 30 free UTME forms will be awarded to outstanding students who distinguished themselves during the coaching sessions.
In addition, over 10,000 pieces of educational materials will be distributed across Ayedire to support students’ learning efforts.
“For the convenience of our students, free buses will be provided from all towns across Ayedire to ensure every child is carried along in this historic moment,” the statement read.
The lawmaker described the initiative as “a statement of our collective belief that education remains the surest foundation for a brighter future,” stressing that the programme is about nurturing knowledge, celebrating excellence, and raising tomorrow’s leaders.
