The Biiro-Fagbemi Community Development Association in Olorunda local government area of Osogbo has issued a letter of appreciation to the Executive Governor of Osun State, Asiwaju Ademola Adeleke, on his recent rehabilitation and upgrading of the primary healthcare centre in their community.
In a letter of appreciation issued by the Chairman landlord association of the community and his secretary, Alhaji Fatai Adelu (Chief Akinrogun of Iragberi land) and Alhaji Aremu Fatai respectively, said they’re grateful to the Governor for his giant strides in the health sector of the state
“We write to officially applaud your Excellency, as members of the above named community, for your good strides towards quality healthcare service in Osun State.
“We sincerely appreciate your efforts on rehabilitation, revamping and upgrading of Primary Healthcare centres in Osun State in which our community health centre was a beneficiary.
“The primary healthcare system is critical and pivotal to the overall success of the healthcare system in any state being the most accessible and first-point of call by the people.
“We are very elated and happy to inform your honour that Biiro-Fagbemi Community Healthcare facility has been rehabilitated, revamped and upgraded, with perimeter fencing, expansion and painting has been completed, solar light and borehole has been installed and constructed respectively and functioning very well.
“Once again, your Excellency, while we thank you for counting our community worthy, please be rest assured of our full cooperation, support, and judicious use of this facility.”
“We thank you for your support and honour done on us,” the statement disclosed.
The community thereafter seek for regular supply of drugs to the health facility and construction of road to aid them and other neighbouring beneficiary communities that will make use of the newly upgraded healthcare centre.
While conducting facility inspection to one of the newly rehabilitated and upgraded healthcare centres in the state, Governor Ademola Adeleke had reiterated that the provision of quality healthcare service is the priority of his administration in the state.
In corroborating the Governor’s effort in the health sector of the state, the Special Adviser on Public Health to the Governor, Dr Adekunle Akindele had disclosed recently in an interview with newsmen that, fifty of such healthcare facility like Biiro-Fagbemi primary healthcare centre has been upgraded and rehabilitated across the state while another phase of the project of 100 centres is taking effect soon.
