In a significant announcement released on the 16th of January, 2024, the Osun State Independent Electoral Commission (OSSIEC) has called upon all registered political parties operating within the state to promptly update and provide essential details to the Commission.
This was contained in a press statement signed by Barrister Hashim Akintunde Abioye,
Chairman of OSSIEC.
The following information has been requested from each political party:
1. Names of the Party’s National Chairman and National Secretary.
2. Physical address and e-mail address (if any) of the Party’s National Headquarters.
3. Official mobile contact of the Party’s National Headquarters.
4. Names of the Party’s Chairman and Secretary for the Osun State Chapter.
5. Physical address and e-mail address (if any) of the Party’s registered office within Osun State.
6. Official mobile contact of the Party’s registered office within Osun.
The political parties are expected to comply with this notice within the next 7 days from the date of issuance. This information is crucial for facilitating seamless communication and interaction with the Commission.
Submissions can be made either in person at the OSSIEC office, located opposite Unity School on Aderin, Old-Ikirun road, Osogbo, or through email at osunsiec01@gmail.com.
