An Iwo-born politician and former Special Adviser on Political Affairs in Osun State, Alhaji Debo Badru is dead.
According to multiple sources, Badru who was Mayegun Musulumi of Iwoland died on Tuesday, August 20 in an undisclosed hospital in Abuja.
Information about nature of his illness is still sketchy as at the time of filing this report.
The news of his passing, according to report, has plunged plunging the entire community into deep sorrow.
A source who pleaded anonymity said, “His death is shocking. Alhaji Badru was not only a prominent political figure in the state. His profound influence and unwavering dedication to the political landscape of the state have left an indelible mark.”
