Adeleke to Launch 10,000-Member Imole Canvasser’s Group in Ijebu-Jesa

Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State,will on Wednesday launch the Imole Canvasser’s Group in Ijebu-Jesa, Oriade Local Government Area of Osun State, as part of ongoing efforts to mobilise support ahead of the August 15 governorship election.

The event, organised by the Accord candidate for the Obokun/Oriade Federal Constituency, Pelumi Olajengbesi, is expected to attract top government officials, party leaders and supporters from across the state.

According to the organisers, the Imole Canvasser’s Group comprises about 10,000 members who will be tasked with taking the message of Governor Adeleke’s administration and its achievements to communities across the Obokun/Oriade Federal Constituency and the wider Osun East Senatorial District.

Governor Adeleke described the initiative as a commendable step towards strengthening grassroots mobilisation for the forthcoming election.

Speaking ahead of the launch, the governor said, “I am going to Ijebu-Jesa as part of the state campaign. The launching of the Imole Canvassers’ Group is a major step in the mobilisation for my re-election on August 15.”

He noted that the inauguration of the group aligns with the broader statewide campaign activities aimed at consolidating support for his administration ahead of the polls.

The governor is expected to use the occasion to engage party faithful and canvass further support for the August 15 election.
