The arrest was confirmed by the Chairman of the Osun NUJ, Comrade Adeyemi Aboderin, and members of the Rave FM Chapel, where Akindoju is an active member.

According to sources within the union, police officers arrived at Akindoju’s residence in the early hours of Thursday and took him away.

Since the incident, his whereabouts have remained unknown, while attempts to reach him through his telephone lines have been unsuccessful.
