Egbedun is good representative - Osun Monarchs

The President of Odo-otin Traditional Council, Oba Samuel Abioye Oyebode, the Olokuku of Okuku have described the Speaker of the Osun state House of Assembly, Rt. Adewale Egbedun as a good representative of the Odo-otin people.

The monarch disclosed this while addressing journalists at his palace in Okuku, adding that the entire Odo-otin people and traditional rulers are proud of him not only for being a good representative but also for the role he is playing in the development of the constituency.

“Egbedun being the representative of the people of Odo-otin is someone that we are all proud of and we all gave our support and he is doing his duty to the people of Odo-otin and traditional rulers.

“To mention just a few of the things he did. He recently did an empowerment in Okuku townhall, giving out cash gifts to people. Secondly he influenced several road construction within Okuku and he was personally supervising the project and he did the same in other communities.

“He is performing his role and we have confidence in him. The entire Odo-otin people are in love with Rt. Hon Adewale Egbedun and we are praying for him to succeed”, the monarch noted.

In his own words, the Oloyan of Oyan, described the Osun Assembly as a good representative who is easily accessible to his people and doing his duty as representative of the Odo-otin people.

He said, “Egbedun is my son and a good one at that, because of the tremendous things he is doing in our area here. I can boldly say he is number one, he is always reaching out to both the people and traditional rulers in our constituency.

“Our road that leads to Erin Ile, they are already working on it, there is another one in Oyan here that work is about to commence on, what more can we ask for.

“Egbedun is very responsible and we keep praying to God to see more representatives like him. I often tell him that no one from Odo-otin has ever occupied the seat he currently does and he must not raise the bar for us.

“Egbedun is representing the entire odo-otin well, he can not be underrated.

“He is not only good to us in Oyan alone, if you go to Ila-Odo road, you would have seen what has been done there, these and many more others are the things he has done.

“If he is not doing well, he will not be coming close to all us, he would have been avoiding us but he didn’t do that he lives in his hometown, you can see him in the morning before he goes to the office or even at night when he gets back, his mobile phone is always reachable.”
