Boreholes cost us N1.5million Each – Governor Adeleke

Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke has revealed that his administration spent N1.5million each on the 332 boreholes drilled across wards in the state.
The Governor made this known during the maiden town hall meeting tagged ‘Ipade Imole’, held at Aurora Events Centre, Osogbo.
He maintained that the boreholes are functioning and serving the immediate needs of the Osun people.
He said, “Our administration conceived of 332 boreholes across the 332 political wards as an intervention measure.
“Each borehole costs one million, five hundred thousand naira. The boreholes are functioning and serving the immediate water needs of our people.”
Osun Spring recall that the Governor Adeleke led administration had embarked on the borehole project as part the project for his first 100 days in office.
